Says Shore: “Max and I have been playing together in different settings for several years now and it's always a joy. We'll be doing a duo tour in Japan in a few weeks, and after getting together to plan our repertoire we thought: "what if we just go into the studio and record and see what happens?"

So we each brought four tunes, arranged on the fly and recorded everything in under three hours. We tried our best to capture that feeling of spontaneity and freshness throughout the album and we hope you enjoy it!”
